We all know that it is maze to figure out employment, waivers, SSI, and all that kind of stuff.  If we make too much money one place, we lose money or services from somewhere else! I am still trying to figure this out myself, but here are the resources that have been recommended to me.

Social Security Administration - apply for SSDI (Social Security Disablilty Income) or SSI (Supplemental Security Income)

Department of Labor -  Office of Disability Employment Policy Job Accommodation Network - find out about employment and self-employment resources

Benefits Navigator - this service is a free service for people in Georgia provided by Sheperd Spinal Center.  These folks will provide you with information about your benefits and how to keep your social security while you have a paying job.

Information on Medicaid Waivers -

this site provides contact information and descriptions of all Medicaid Waivers available in Georgia (and every other state too)
